MY STORY
Hey, friend!
I'm Halle, business coach, founder of the Women's Startup Academy (and 3 other businesses) and proud mama of 3 beautiful girls.
I've owned a restaurant, a health and wellness coaching and blogging business, a photography business and now a business coaching and consulting agency.
I've even fulfilled my life-long dream of becoming a traditionally published author and have gone on to write 4 books!
It all started back in 2001, when I became a first-time business owner and opened a bagel cafe. I had little to no experience and turned my cafe into a multi 6 figure revenue machine.
We successfully sold it in 2006 after my life took a dramatic turn and I went from having zero kids to having 3 beautiful girls in 18 short months.
I stayed home with my girls for their first 5 years before I started to get the itch to start something new around 2011.
I knew I wanted the freedom to be home for my girls when they got home from school and I wanted the flexibility to work on my terms, not the other way around.
My fear was could I do it again being a mom of three small children? Was it possible to be a good mom and a successful business owner?
THE MOM IN ME WAS AFRAID OF FAILURE…
I've never been afraid to put myself out there, but this time was different. I had a family to worry about.
I didn't have the available time or money that I did with my first business and I was afraid that being a mom and building a business might not be achievable.
That’s when I discovered that an online business was a perfect fit for me and my growing family.
I decided to push through my fears of being a mom AND a business owner and gave this online business thing a try.
I started my online business a little over 12 years ago when my girls were little and created a meaningful career that has provided me with enough income to sustain myself financially and one that has allowed me to continue to grow and work for myself all while nurturing my family.
